Dr. Fraziero, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Oral Roberts Universitys College of Medicine and Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from the UHSA School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice Dental Medicine in Massachusetts. Dr. Fraziero is board certified in anesthesiology, by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (F.A.D.S.A.). His internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery was served at L.S.U. Charity Hospital of New Orleans, L.A. He received his residency training in oral & maxillofacial surgery with special emphasis in head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery in New York, N.Y. (Woodhull Medical Center, St. Vincents Hospital and Staten Island Hospital). He was given the honor of being selected to serve as the Chief Resident the final two years of his residency. After completing his surgical training, Dr. Fraziero established his practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. His current practice location in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts is devoted exclusively to the surgical management of injuries, diseases, cosmetic and functional deformities of the face and mouth.
Dr. Fraziero is the Chief of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery at Baystate Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Fraziero is well known as the surgeon that manages the most complicated facial trauma and maxillofacial surgical conditions in western Massachusetts.
Within our office, we have a fully equipped and accredited ambulatory surgery center. With the help of our highly trained, efficient and professional staff, we are able to perform most surgical procedures in our office operating suites. Our patients that require care in the hospital setting are treated at Baystate Medical Center, a level one trauma center and a teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fraziero was residency trained to provide general anesthesia for his patients. He is an instructor for BLS (basic life support) and is a certified provider in ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) and PALS (pediatric advanced life support). Our office is equipped and prepared to manage any emergency that might occur during anesthesia and surgery.
Dr. Frazieros combination of medical and dental training makes him uniquely qualified to surgically manage a diverse range of facial and oral conditions for both adult and pediatric patients.
